Martell is aged 17, and was wearing rather drab and workmanlike clothes when Lia met him.  A solid bear of a man with no apparent neck, stubble and unkempt hair.  He has a perpetual toothpick in one side of his mouth.

His initial appearance as an uncultured thug belies an alert and observant mind and an entertaining raconteur if you can get him talking.

“How did I hook up with Raina?  When I was younger I travelled around a bit, not a stay-at-home like I am now.  Anyways, I was passin’ through Argyropoulos when I met some people, I dropped that I was lookin’ for work and they introduced me to some other people.  One ting led to another, an’ bein’ a good worker, I eventually got dis position of trust here.  Keep an eye on the locals, report back on anything interestin’, help out any of her people comin’ through.”
