Lia met this man – aged about 11, not unattractive, wiry and fit-looking – at the gymnasium in the Grasslands Estate Facility.

He likes to see how many claps he can do on low G push-ups at the gym.

He seemed excited to be working at The Facility, and worked for ‘ZooBotan’.

He was researching hemp plants, and noted that “…we’re finding out that they can be used for a lot more than just their fibres! It looks like they might have medical uses…though I can’t say too much.”

He also noted the following projects going on at The Facility:

• crop diversification for different environments of cereals and hops
• investigation of fungi as a basis for a pharmaceutical farm
• “…some stuff going on over in Zoological too, including some sort work across the fence with some non-companion life forms.”
