Overview

The Highport is constructed out of the moonlet that naturally orbits Zarg’s World, and no large, artificial station has been put in orbit.  The Highport is a metallic spiderweb that surmounts the grey potato of the moonlet.

Compared to most Highports, Zarg’s Moon Highport is a sprawling affair.  Spaceship docks are scattered across one side of the potato-shaped moon and joined to a series of habitat areas by rails along which passenger and cargo pods traverse.

Access to the concourse requires tagging through a security station.  Beyond is a small, low-key strip of shops, restaurants and accommodation places.

The concourse is rarely deserted, but never seems especially busy.

Example Docking Area

Kwint and Lia reach the end of the boarding tube, outside which is a small lobby area containing an empty customs desk, a worn-looking bench seat and a travel pod station.  A 20 seater pod is waiting and whisks them along the surface monorail.  Outside the windows, the dirty-blue orb of Zarg’s World hangs above their heads, taking up much of the field of view.

Legion Docks

Beyond the shuttle’s docking port, inside the Legion dock is a cavernous space.  Large view windows show boarding tubes leading up to various-sized military ships.  Legionnaires are moving things about using vehicles and robot arms.  A small cluster of grey tunic’d staffers are standing in a corner drinking coffee.  Across the concourse a double line of black uniforms is standing at attention while another Legionnaire barks commands at them.
