I-261-Oliver: Spanial, Control (N-Space to Nonoop Nav Buoy)

Ipan says, over Comms, “Stoutly Exploring, we are a Dominion-registered commercial vessel proceeding to your Navigation Buoy One.”

There’s a pause, then warning lights flash on the consoles; Oliver knows what that means before Ipan reports it.

Ipan announces, “just got hit with an active scan.”

Karmen is poised, head cocked, listening, waiting to react; Jennie is hovering over her helm controls.

Another pause then, over the speakers, “Dominion vessel, understood.  Please proceed, we won’t impede your progress.  Be advised we are alert to the possibility of Legion Navy patrols at this time.  Stoutly Exploring out.”

To Oliver it sounds as if there may be more implied in that ‘understood’ than simple comms protocol.

Karmen grunts flat acknowledgement, “huh.”
