I-254-Oliver: Spanial (N-Space to Nonoop Nav Buoy)

I concur, there is no game penalty, just an in-character feeling.   

Crew Check-in

I’ll assume Oliver wakes at his usual time and attends the Galley and Common Room for breakfast…

Prrri

Prrri is briefly in the Galley – unusual as he typically absents himself around meal times – he and Gregar seem to be discussing something technical around the FTL drive retuning work before Gregar has a break for what is Gregar’s lunch meal.

They complete their conversation, and Prrri says he’s going to sleep.

He pauses by Oliver and bats him gently in the chest with his tail, “Vizierate passengerr elextrician Oliverr,” and he leaves the room without further comment. 

Gregar

Gregar nods to Oliver, “I think he likes you.

“Felline don’t say goodbye, the closest they have might be, if you need me I’ll be here.  That’s actually a pretty good farewell.”

Then his voice drops to a whisper, “I hope you find what you’re after.”

Ipan

Ipan was absent at breakfast – apparently went to bed early so he can be alert later for when they are approaching the Nav buoy. 

When Oliver does see him – possibly just before heading back to Control, Ipan thanks Oliver for showing him how to spoof jumps and if he had the social skills, might even try and apologise for behaving like a dick when Oliver first arrived, he doesn’t though, so Oliver will just get the vibe unless he wishes to smooth the way for the gawky comm/scan officer.  

Kwint

At some point during Green Shift, Kwint will come find Oliver and present him with a small lunch box.

“It’ll be before dinner when we’ll be approaching the nav buoy, not sure when you might eat next so I made you some food to take with you.  Plus there’s a few meal packs as well, just in case.” 

Jennie

Jennie will make time during Green Shift to find Oliver if he doesn’t find him first.

She’s actually happy to chat for a while about areas where they’ve found mutual interest, and at the end of their conversation, wishes him sincere good luck with his mission and exhorts him to stay safe.

Karmen

Oliver will find Karmen sitting Watch in Control – she lets him in and actually seems to be fairly alert to the instruments compared to most Watch sittings.

“Oliver, come in.”

She gestures for him to take a seat at Comm/Scan, remaining at her Conn station.

“Good, I wanted to have a chat.”

Given, however, he sought her out Karmen will allow Oliver to open the conversation.
