I-163-Oliver: Captree Main Orbital, Commercial Dock Customs Point

Spanial has docked, Lia has departed, Oliver has gone to bed.  How did he sleep?

It is the following Cycle, 211.481, early in Green Shift.  Has he breakfasted, or is that something he plans to do with Marissa?

Oliver proceeds through the customs point.  We can assume that goes without incident (as an aside, something we’ve never formally discussed but as a result of the training his mother put him through as a youth, Oliver is permitted as a civilian to carry a non-lethal beam pistol and – unless you decide otherwise – his weapon is legally registered to him.  It might sometimes take him some extra time at a customs point as the Legionnaires often want to inspect it, but it’s never been an actual issue for him to go through customs with his weapon.)

Does he have his LDA with him?

Unless he is early, as he emerges through the doors he sees his mother, standing with her usual erect posture waiting for him.  Perhaps at odds with what he might have expected, she is wearing civilian clothes.

  1. Oliver Starr says:

He probably slept okay but doesn’t feel like he did. He’s likely feeling anxious and though physically rested his mind may have had a stressful cycle.

He generally keeps all things with him so yes he will have his gun and his LDA.

Seeing her posture he will probably straighten up himself and make his way towards her, he won’t call out but addresses her once they’re within standard talking distance.
    “Hello, mother.”
