Time On Roseman

Roseman is locked to its star, keeping the same face to it all the time, so the light levels here depend on your latitude.  Here at the Downport, almost directly under the star, it’s as bright as it gets, which given the dim star, is about as bright as a heavily overcast day under a bus shelter.  The further south you go, the dimmer it gets and once you’re past the equator, there’s only starlight. 

However, given there’s no atmosphere here, there’s no real reason to go outside, and so Roseman operates on the Dominion Clock everywhere.  By the time Lia’s done with the customs check it’s Red Shift at the RC Break.  Except for people like the customs officer, and the service industries for them, a majority of the population are likely still asleep.
