At the assumption of Overlord Brian Craighead, his great-great-granduncle Wilhelm Craighead, declined the Regency due to his advanced age. Wilhelm’s Grandson, John Craighead accepted the Regency. Upon the assassination of Overlord Brian, Wilhelm became Overlord himself.
Abdication
The following Cycle, Wilhelm nominated his Granddaughter Luce as Overlord, passing over former Regent John, and abdicated.
