H-416: Little Isle Manor House

The guests amble in a slightly chaotic group along the L-corridor and through the Atrium and out through the entry vestibule.

Lia hasn’t seen this part of the Manor yet.  Out front there’s a wide circular driveway with a retractable rain-cover leading from the front doors, though the weather is mostly clear with about 1/3 cloud cover and stars across the rest of the sky. Beyond the drive is an open expanse of grounds, a few bushes and a small rotunda about 100 metres away.  One side of the drive looks like it leads down an avenue of trees to a high wall and a road, another leads toward what might be the AeroStat park, but that can’t be seen directly from here.  The second path has a branch down toward what Lia will discover is a boat dock.  All the paths are surmounted by strings of ground-mounted lamps to light the way in the darkness.

Pasquale is waiting with an electric cart to ferry anyone who’s not up for the walk.

At the end of the walk is a boat dock, a couple of smaller craft tied up on one side and a large vessel branded with the mark of a private charter boat company is at the other, a railed gangway leading aboard.  Canapes, hot, cold and alcoholic drinks are being offered as guests step aboard.

Raina says it’s about four tasks to their destination and invites everyone to make themselves comfortable.

Would Lia like to do anything before reaching the boat?

What will she do when she gets there?

  1. Lia Silver-Rose says:

She will wander in Raina’s direction if there is an opportunity and she looks amenable. Otherwise she will chat to other people along the walk.

Lia will avoid alcohol but will happily have a hot drink and some canapes whilst finding somewhere to sit for the trip.
