It’s not exactly a lie – and it would probably take someone as skilled as Lia in peopleing to note it but Raina isn’t entirely present during the work conversation; she’s mentally multitasking for parts of it. That said, she is engaged and focussed on Lia for many parts of their talk.
On leaving, Raina seems to be in a good mood, though there’s something unsettled about her. Something since Lia asked her, ‘How does it work for you? …’
Raina will confirm with Lia that Lia’s staying over and will be around NextCycle.
Would Lia like to leave it at that, or say or do something specific?
She will attempt to be professional but the alcohol has definitely made her a little looser in general, so her physicality is more relaxed and she still has that slightly playful edge. She will return Raina’s touch warmly and thank her for the chat, before seeming to recall that they’re not, in fact, friends. She will then enquire about the schedule for next cycle and where she should be at what time.
There will be a couple of moments where Lia reaches for her necklace before catching herself and aborting the action mid-flow.
