H-351: Little Isle Manor House, Parlour

Raina seemed pleased when she made Lia laugh.

Three things Lia noticed:

First, Raina was being attentive to Lia’s listening and increased quantity of her descriptive content as the story progressed to what Lia seemed to enjoy, and there were a few places where she used those descriptions to not go into detail about other things, such as a lot of the detail about what was said in her conversation with ‘Bob’;

second, though she did note her feelings on things, that was interspersed lightly, and did not cover most of what she said; and,

third, though she seems a sharp observer of people and their motivations and can amuse others with her thoughts about that, Lia suspects that the things she herself finds funny tend to be simple and basic.

At the end of her story, Raina refills her drink, sits quietly for a short time, part observing Lia and part seemingly still engaged in her inner world.

Will Lia say or do anything?

  1. Lia Silver-Rose says:

    Lia has become more relaxed as the story progressed and is now partly reclining on the couch. She has only the dregs remaining in her glass but has not yet refilled it. It is sitting on the floor next to the couch.

    “That sounds like quite the evening. I’d like to see your brooch sometime.”
