Raina observes Lia tasting the wine, giving that activity her full attention.
She doesn’t speak until Lia does.
“I think this is our meeting, a continuation of the discussion we started at Platters some time ago. But, business then, how’s your project going so far?”
Lia pours Raina’s glass before her own.
Her response is to give a full rundown of the feelers she has put out for the project, the meetings she’s had, the outcomes she is hoping for and the potential snags she anticipates along the way.
