H-312: Little Isle Manor House, Parlour

Raina watches Lia without speaking while Lia deals with the practicalities of opening the bottle and pouring her drink.

Lia can preempt the following by speaking first, but otherwise Raina will wait until she is settled and ask, “so, what shall we discuss?  Work? Your feminine mystique?  My well-spent youth?  My party?  Why you’re frightened to play piano in front of a crowd?”

  1. Lia Silver-Rose says:

She will offer to pour Raina a glass before pouring her own but does not pre-empt Raina’s speech.

She sits back nursing her glass as Raina speaks. She will have noticed Lia take a deep inhale of the wine once she had it swirling in her glass, before returning her attention to Raina.

The feminine mystique comment elicits a small quirk of the lips that is dispelled by a spark of surprise at the piano reference.

She takes a moment to sip her wine before responding. Raina will notice her eyes become half lidded as she savours the flavour but her gaze remains locked on Raina.

She spreads the fingers of the hand not cupping her glass.

    “This is your meeting.”

She lets that sit for a beat.

    “Perhaps business before pleasure?”
