Indeed, I hadn’t accounted for the hairdo and ornament, which adds a good 10-15cm to Raina’s height – were it not for the impressive doorways at her Manor she might have to duck when entering a room.
Lia is certain that Raina appreciates her attention, though to anyone not paying close attention, Raina probably seems impassive. However, when Lia responds to Raina’s comment, Raina laughs aloud, and assuming Lia’s not too entranced with Raina’s shinies, Lia will note a couple of heads turn toward them in the crowd; it seems Lia has caught her in a genuinely – and possibly rare – unguarded response.
It’s only for a brief instant though, and Raina recovers.
She asks, “are you enjoying my party so far?”
Trust me when I say that neck craning is a factor for the vertically challenged. 😜 Moving further back for perspective is the ideal solution but there are shinies.
Her laugh surprises an amused smile out of Lia.
“I am. You certainly have an eclectic array of acquaintances. I like your pool as well, particularly it’s shape.”
