Hangers On
Most of the hangers-on disperse into the crowd, a few head for the buffet. A few hover around the edges, presumably wanting to speak with Raina. There’s one face that Lia remembers from the function at Platters who remains alert and alone that Lia pegs as a probable bodyguard. That said, bodyguard is giving Raina plenty of space so is apparently not too concerned for her safety.
Function Room
Cinna acknowledges her in return, but won’t move to engage with Lia as she’s in conversation.
Raina seems to be making her way around the room, will eventually reach Lia.
Would you like Lia to prepare in any way, eg: still be chatting with someone? Not be chatting with someone? Anything else?
I couldn’t possibly comment on what might happen later…
She notes the ‘bodyguard’ and is tempted to speak to them but suppresses the urge as unfair.
It’s possible Lia is just leaving a conversation in search of another drink and snacks when she turns and finds Raina. In a suitably cinematic fashion 😋
