Whence would you like to skip?

More people begin to arrive, some coming to the pool area, others heading to the house.  It becomes apparent that food is ready.

The Junior Secretary wanders over to talk to Clyde, seems happy to be introduced to Lia.  Junior Secretary talks brief business about possibly engaging the law firm for some work – it’s short on details but it sounds like it might be vaguely related to the arcology project, which may make Lia’s ears prick up; Junior Sec says he wants to talk to Raina about the work at some point too.  Other than that, he talks about guitars with Clyde, seems interested in a one-person manufacturing enterprise in the Greater Archipelago that is apparently making excellent guitars and in which the Trade Bureau seems interested but the Industry Bureau has issues with – though the Junior Secretary seems more interested in how the guitars sound.

If Lia remains in the conversation, more people will drift over, or she can go elsewhere in the party.
