H-175: Captree

So a little more background and characterisation:

Already mentioned is Dining Culture Specialist Advisor Dizen-Brummagem-Hoit-Hieno.

The Communications Bureau Producer is Maxine Bloom – about the same age as Lia, pretty, seems professional and focussed on work.  Lia has a sense she’s juggling numerous projects at once and the restaurant feature is just one, but there is a definite connection to Madison there somewhere that gives Lia credibility.

The restaurant owner/manager is Benino Meyer-Fawlt, a heavy-set but well-presented man with greying hair.  Benino works in partnership with the head chef – Gord Bolton – a small, heavily tattooed and surly man who never seems to leave the kitchen.  Lia was briefly introduced to him by Benino during a visit with Cinna before both of them being whisked away (unless Lia was interested in staying longer, of course).  During the brief encounter he appeared to enjoy the view of Lia’s cleavage.

Benino nods sagely, clearly understanding the weight of what’s being organised and ensures Lia he will put his best foot forward.

Odelia will be happy to accept (I think I can rely on Lia’s charm without a roll).  What sort of attractive male company; ie, wording up an escort or simply pulling in an appropriate person and hoping he and Odelia hit it off?  Incidentally did Lia decide to draw on Eliana, or go a different route.

Is she involving producer Maxine in the review night?  In any case Maxine is happier now that the story has ‘legitimacy’ through the Cutural Bureau.

  1. Lia Silver-Rose says:

I would hope she and Esha could come up with a few possibilities, especially given that this restaurant is about to become a useful location for escorts.

Definitely shades of Eliana on display here. Lia finds it mildly uncomfortable but it’s useful.

She is not involving Maxine at this stage, given that she’s pretending to have more of a relationship with Odelia than she actually has.
