Awkwardly or conveniently, the equally punctual Cinna happens to meet Lia in the lift on the way up to the restaurant, being in the lift already when Lia steps on.
“Bluevening.”
She takes in Lia’s ensemble.
“Nice jacket.”
Cinna herself is wearing a matte gold jacket over a loose-flowing, intricately embriodered white shirt, matching slacks and knee-high tan boots.
Lia smiles when she sees her.
“Pleasant bluevening indeed.”
She looks down at her jacket.
“I confess it reminded me of you.”
She flicks her eyes down to the briefcase.
“Brought you a present.”
