Apartment
Externally, Lia’s apartment is part of a building that is a steep truncated step pyramid about 20 storeys tall. She will have a glass-fronted balcony along one of the pyramid steps. The building is constructed of large stone blocks with lots of glass.
The interior is up to you if needed, noting that plastics and organic materials are expensive in the Dominion, and on Captree in particular. Likewise on Captree, metals are expensive too; the planet’s architecture is dominated by stone, ceramics and glass, but like anywhere, imports carry a touch of class and premium pricing.
Restaurant
The taxi will take her across the city to the Esplanade district – an increasingly popular area being redeveloped after some period of neglect. ‘Platters on the Esplanade’ is a new place in a new building overlooking the ocean on the Isle’s Western side. How punctual is Lia being?
I imagine she has a fairly standard interior setup with a hint of plastic here and there and a lounge covered in a faux suede material in a dark shade of red.
She will be exactly on time for her meeting. Winta is often somewhat late as making an entrance allows her to manipulate certain impressions as necessary. Emerald on the other hand is all business and efficiency pays.
She is wearing a pair of loose slacks and a matching long jacket in a mustard yellow shade, with a low cut white top beneath. The pants are high waisted but there is a glimpse of skin at Emerald’s waist as she moves. The jacket falls in long folds to mid calf. She is wearing high heeled strappy sandals and a necklace of milky white stones that shimmer and catch the light. Her hair is up in a simple twist and pinned, showing off her neck.
She has the briefcase.
