H-055: Passenger Liner Captree Traveller
It’s not a big space – one wonders what the economy- and bunk-class passengers are experiencing?
The decor in this room is muted reds and neutral greys with subtle brushed-gold metallic trim. The furnishings tend to be plush and covered with smooth (though sturdy) fabric. Lighting is adjustable for brightness and hue, thermostat and air fan speed likewise, or she can leave the ship to decide by default.
The bathroom comprises a Fresher unit – combination toilet, shower cubicle and wash basin with the various components folding in and out from the wall to maximise space efficiency – and a compact but deep spa bath. The end door of the bathroom opens right up so if she has a mind to do so, Lia can sit in the spa and watch the large vid screen on the wall opposite the bed and/or the smaller unit at the desk.
Storage space is mostly under the softness-adjustable double bed, though the porters have placed her trunk under the vid screen, where it has been gecko’d securely to the floor.
There is a physical porthole above the bed, though now the ship is in jump the shutter has been closed by default.
When she plays with the vid screen information channel, she will discover that she can call up a variety of films, music, vid series, informational broadcasts and news (current up to the point the ship entered jump) her Resi section cabin also features a few extra channels, including a limited selection of erotica to explore if she so desires. Her own public terminal is provided on the desk – though as usual, data is only current up to when the ship went into jump.
The cabin is fitted with a personalised tracking sound system (ie smart speakers will dynamically alter the sound for best effect wherever she is standing or sitting.)
The info channel advises that a variety of special pillow and bedding options are available to luxury passengers should she so desire (no charge for Resi section guests). If she is persistent, she will also discover that by default the empty central area of her cabin is left empty, but she can request a coffee table, small table, gaming table, extra desk, reclining massage chair, zero-G chamber/air bath, self-service buffet or small water feature (all subject to availability) for the space.
As a luxury passenger, she can call the Luxury Cabin Steward whenever the mood takes her for room service or whatever shipboard services are available. Most services offered by the shipboard establishments can be delivered to her room if she so desires (subject to practical limitations).
The channel also has the following:

She will request a small table for the empty space in her cabin.
She is sorely tempted by the bath/vid combination – what time is it currently?
