So firstly, there is nothing illegal or even necessarily suspect about having unauthorised Money Cards in one’s possession.  There are plenty of legitimate reasons for doing so – in particular anyone who has a private business with employees might well have them for payroll purposes.  That said, any Legion PSO or Dominion Bank teller would probably be aware that they are used as a means of black-market exchange so might be a factor in determining suspicious behaviour, but are probably insufficient on their own.

Physically, an unauthorised Money card is a Money card locked into a surrounding cover.  If Oliver or Lia want to use them for legit purposes, all they have to do is put their thumb on the card’s thumbprint sensor and break the cover off.  That authorises the card to their thumbprint and they’re good to go.  Most of the broken cover can be thrown away except for a smaller data card that basically acts as an audit trail to the authorisation event should one be needed.

So, while they can take them to The Dominion Bank and put them into their account, there is no particular need to do so.

Equally, neither Oliver nor Lia need a Streetwise roll to know that unauthorised Money Cards are trade-able at face value for many ‘black market’ services, so having a stash of them can be a useful thing.

If Lia wishes to duck out and purchase a case from the gift shop and bring it back to the room for carrying purposes, that won’t take long at all.  As noted above, they can just bundle the boxes into the case, or she can distribute the contents as described.  For noting, inside each of the Orange boxes are 10 unauthorised Money cards, each containing ʄ2,000.  In the yellow box are 10 Money Cards, each containing ʄ1,000.   

From the previous comments, I assume Oliver will be carrying the case?
