Her tone remains the same but there a little fire in her eyes that matches his own.
“I cannot possibly confirm or deny anything that we are certainly not discussing. Discretion being a fundamental tenet of my non-existent business.”

Oliver leans forward. “What I’m gathering is that if any party or their acquaintances have been behaving inappropriately that fact will be overlooked, granted such behaviour is more appropriate in future.”
That wasn’t directly at Lia, more just a general observation to break the tension.
