Both Lia and Oliver detect a sense of genuine pleasure in the voice on the line.

As noted, Oliver doesn’t need a roll to see Lia freeze.

What will she say, if anything?

    The freeze lasts longer than a blink and you’ll miss it but not by much. Something about Lia shifts and the people in Control may feel as if they are looking at a different person, though they will be hard pressed to put their finger on why they feel that way.

    “Overcrat Preston-Lischost.”

    As she speaks, she turns and looks from Jennie to Gtegar before shifting back to face the terminal. Her voice is dusted in sugar with a little bit of bite to it.

    “Is this a bad time?”
