Ok. Lia will settle in and recount who was in the meeting, followed by Markov-Wrikster’s comment about Panchas Tog, presumably in relation to the governor’s absence.
She will reveal that she was described as an observer of people, which sparked what she suspects his contact had flagged as her ‘interaction’ with Markov-Wrikster. He seemed interested in this description of her but it was Willoughby who asked most of the questions.
She will mention her observations about the armed Legionnaires and the over-qualified doorman and Bowie-Ngask’s plausible responses. She will also mention Markov-Wrikster’s comment about this being considered a ‘prestigious posting’.
Now she will pause and give a little sigh.
“I’m afraid the next part of the conversation was about you…”
She will tell him that she mentioned him and how she suspected that people mocked him, probably to their detriment. Markov-Wrikster was interested in their interaction and she said she suspected she was a novelty.
Here, she will give Farbello a little eyebrow waggle.
Markov-Wrikster was not so easily fobbed off and pressed for details of their exchange. She will tell him that she mentioned the little game they played but she glossed over the actual questions that were asked, finishing by saying that she found her interaction with him to be stimulating.
She will pause for a moment and smile at him here.
Markov-Wrikster mentioned here that Farbello is quiet in council meetings and gives the impression of being there for the catering. Bowie-Ngask pressed her for more. Emerald told them that she suspected the Vizier was not to be underestimated but undercut the comment by mentioning what he had said about catering making these events more tolerable. Markov-Wrikster looked thoughtful after this conversation.
She will mention a couple more things for interest. That when the other guests left, Willoughby was the only one Markov-Wrikster escorted out. She will tell him that he asked her if she dances and when she replied in the affirmative, he said ‘another time’. Finally, she will mention that as they left, the lead singer of the Jivin’ Five was instructed he could go in after them.
This diatribe will be interspersed with sips of juice and pauses as she recalls details.
