F-238-Oliver: Spanial (N-Space to Mundo Zargo), Main Engineering
Prrri flattens his ears, “literrall trrransssalationn might bee ‘fool xho masssturrrbatess in public’, but thattt doessnn’t xcarry thee cullturral mmeanning verry well.”
OK, going back and reviewing his saved set of Argyle’s data blob #56, he can see there are actually three copies of the vid itself in there: The bundled file, a compressed file extracted from the bundle and a decompressed version of the raw vid. All the other files from the bundle have been unpacked as well, for example, the ‘special features’ poster.
However, those have not been decompressed or altered as far as Oliver can tell, only the main vid file has been unpacked into its raw state.
Oliver will laugh audibly. “I will /definitely/ remember that one then, thanks for the lesson, Prrri!”
Oliver wants to do an in depth virus/trojan type scan on all 3 copies of the video.
If that yields nothing, he wants to do a cryptography check on the compressed file.
