F-194-Oliver: Spanial (N-Space to Mundo Zargo), Control

By Oliver’s lunch time they have completed work on the simulation and set it running.

Jennie seems very happy with what they have achieved; Oliver may be as well.  She thanks Oliver and takes over the Watch from him leaving him free to eat and have some rec time.

When he relives her at Blue Shift, she shows him the sim results so far – she has set it up to display as a 3D visual on the Nav plot.  She points out a series of orange-to-red-coloured zones on a ship’s course at both the start and end of a jump plot where the risks they have been calculating are higher.

“I’d still like to check it against more data, but this is good stuff Oliver.  I think we might have made space travel safer.”

Her eyes are alight and she seems very pleased.
