“Shortly, perhaps.  Is he aware of the sort of work you have been doing for me?  Is he in a similar line of work himself?”  

“It’s a factor; one I would like to understand better. “Were you honest with Samuel about his skill set or was that a smoke screen for why he’s really there? “Oh, and I’m not...

“I see.” There’s the briefest of pauses. “Samuel mentioned you have a new addition.  Is he there?”  

“I’m referring to your services in particular, Mer Emerald. Although-” He interrupts is own thought. “Are you somewhere you can discuss sensitive matters?”  

“I do.  I’m hoping to engage your services in exchange for mine.”  

Mostly – businesslike, generally friendly.  There’s maybe a hint of goading in the last question. Oliver can jump in at any point.
