When the Server brings the drinks, Lia notes the Big Guy talking to the other server at the entry terminal. Based on their body language, Lia would guess that they’re referring to the table at which she and the Envoy are seated.
Lia’s conversation with the Envoy proceeds congenially, and he seems happy to discuss Chak at length, apparently taking her interest as genuine. He asks her if her friend is a gambler, noting (without being rude) that she seems to have mastered the betting rules better than the subtleties of game play.
Their Chak conversation reaches a natural break with the arrival of their food. She can continue that conversation, change the subject or allow him to do either; what would she like to do?
She will admit that her friend is indeed a gambler. She will wait to see which direction he takes the conversation next.
