Lexi puts emotive emphasis on the word.

“- and that making small, local changes can further their self-interest rather than harm it.

“And yes, I agree that if we have to wait for people’s belief in the common good to make things better, then the stars will probably burn out first.  But, if there can be successful examples of enlightened self-interest, that might just have a run on the sportsing arena.”

    “I have yet to see a system that wasn’t broken in some way. It’s the nature of humanity to create a system only to subvert it. Do you believe there is a system that would be impervious to human nature?”
