F-608: Crystal Coast Resort

Lia would usually have had her Zoner! hit about the time that the aerostat was flying around the rocky sea spire; I’ve been assuming that she uses some time before her bed time to enjoy the high.  As noted, she has about a Cycle before the effects of missing a dose begin to be noticed.

Prrri gurgles at both Lia and Oliver in response to their comments.

While they don’t have to take advantage of the courtesy bus, it’s probably easiest.  Outside, the lightest of sun showers is just beginning, the day is still bright but tiny droplets are floating down making occasional rainbow patterns in the air.

If they so choose, they can file onto the courtesy bus while remaining in a pressurised environment; the Mer in the next seat notably gives Prrri a wide berth.

The bus takes them on a circular road past landscaped lawns and gardens to the impressive blue-and-white building that is the resort centre.

A number of people seem to be waiting for luggage to be offloaded, but Lia, Oliver and Prrri are travelling light and can enter the main foyer without delay.

It is an impressive wide and steep-domed shape inside, with high windows that allow crescent-shaped patches of natural light to fill the room.  The white-and-blue motif is maintained inside and it is a bright and airy space. A curved reception desk dominates one wall, and a restaurant/café on one side offers Oliver the promise of coffee.  Arched corridors leading from the foyer are labelled Accommodations, Entertainments and Services and Convention Centre.

Under the latter sign, an electronic screen reads:  Welcome to the Dominion-wide Agriculture Conference!

The place is quite busy.
