F-567: Spanial (Docked at Mundo Zargo Highport), Common Area

There is a faint distortion to the audio from the other end.  Barely perceptible and not enough to interfere with their assessments of tone, but Oliver recognises it as characteristic of someone who is using a portable interference generator to defeat possible listening devices at their end.  Also, Oliver would guess the call is using background noise suppression and the speaker might well be in a public place or using a public terminal.

Lia can certainly mute her end.

Jennie says, “If you can convince him to get them out, I’d appreciate it, and I think Karmen and the others would too.

“But only if it’s safe for you to do so.”

Gregar whispers, barely audible, “I get worried when people ask for non-specific favours.”

  1. Lia Silver-Rose says:

“Me too.” Lia mutters before unmuting her end.

“I would consider their release more of a completion of an existing job since they seem to have been snared in a situation whilst under your employ.”

Her voice is particularly attractive to listen to.

    Oliver remains silent for now.
