3-198: In the Hallway of Argyle’s Lodge XX
There is no shooting when the flare goes in.
Oliver opens the door to reveal what looks like an entertainment room.
A luxurious chair is positioned to face a projection screen with an accompanying overhead projector and Oliver spots a set of high-quality surround-sound speakers. A side table holds a bulky remote control and a tray, currently empty, for holding snacks and drinks. The flare is scorching its way into an attractive and plush rug rather than the durable carpet seen in the rest of the building.
There is a drinks cabinet and bar fridge to the left and another table to the right.
This room has a full-height window and overlooks the snowy terrain and the stars, moonlight is spilling into the room.
I’ll lightly kick the flare away from the rug as I do a quick run over of the room. If there’s nothing of particular interest I’ll get the flare with the tongs and move on to the next room.
