So, no-one really seems to know anything, or if they do it’s not easily distinguishable from the gawking, speculation and guesswork.  However, in terms of a hierarchy of questions it might look like:

• Will it be a local from Mundo Zargo, or not?
  • If it’s a local who will it be?  Likely (or speculative) candidates include:
    • Namasia Markov-Wrikster
    • Phyllis Crough-Wittle
    • Zayaire Preston-Lischost
    • Several other speculated names of varying liklihood (some people seem to just need a list of names to round out a top-ten list)
  • If it’s not a local…
    • Someone from New Zargland?
      • a name Lia heard when talking to South – Shwanda Bakkur-Ophala-Jandicot-Oakey, Under Secretary of the Communications Bureau
      • and another name she’s not heard of, considered an outside chance
    • Any one of a number of possibilities from Zargonia
      • there’s a long list of speculation, but some people point to an up-and-comping bureaucrat in the Planning Bureau
    • The Dominion’s a big place, and some people say it’s impossible to know what the Overlord might be thinking or who might be chosen
