“My point about you being the expert is, if the data were hidden in there, wouldn’t you have found it?  Are you sure the black cat is in the dark room?”

Prrri tilts his head on the side and stares intensely at Oliver for a second, then flicks his ears at Gregar and makes a noise that resembles trying to start a car with an almost flat battery.

“Old Felline hunterrs used to xcall it spirrit voices.  Dominionnn sscienntistsss ssay it’ss ssubconncsiouss brrain axtivity,” he taps his head with a claw, “butt Xi have learrned whenn thee little voice herre speaksss,” for some reason he taps the back of his neck with his tail, “it’ss besst to lisstenn.”

Gregar glances at Prrri, having to swing his head right around to do so.  He looks first confused by the random statement, then thoughtful.

“Alright, as a theoretical exercise then…”

He pauses, thinking.

“How would you hide the data?”

Oliver listens to Prrri and nods. “Well, I’d probably format it like another type of data, then place it among the rest so it looks like something it isn’t and when accessed it just looks corrupted.”
