F-328-Lia: The Elephant Suite

It’s an actual painting – a fairly rare thing in the Dominion.  The materials would be somewhat different, but it’s like an oil painting.  There are imperfections, brush strokes, an uneven surface where paint is thicker in some areas than others.

It’s aesthetically pleasing, a complex and detailed picture done in a kind of stylised realism.  

He says, “or to fuel it; it makes sense to me that the tip of the tentacle could be fireproof, it’s why I don’t think it’s likely that it breathed fire from its mouth.

“They’re generally shown as being huge, and look at the thickness of those legs.  It’s a little detail that makes me think they might have been real.”

    There’s a slight pause as she studies the painting.

    “Just the tip?”

    Her voice is pitched a little lower.
