3-190: In the Hallway of Argyle’s Lodge XV

Oliver recognises what he is looking at as a Faraday Cage.  Indeed, there is a second cage inside the first, and the steel armour plate on the walls of the room would act as a third layer.  Given the fine mesh, this should be very effective electronic shielding.

Given the twin layers of mesh and the flare and torchlight outside, it is very difficult to see into the cage.

There does not seem to be a lock on the mesh door though.

The inner cage also seems to have a door approximately in line with the first mesh door. 

The gap between the outer door and the first cage door is about 0.5m and the first cage door to the second about 1m.

Oliver can pick up the flare and put it through the first mesh door easily enough, but would need to move further in to put it through the second.

He can’t see any turrets or other dangers, but with the cages in the way, it is difficult to see much of anything.
