“I appreciate your sharing with me.”
He spends a little while attending to his meal, allowing Lia to eat.
“What is your take on Markov-Wrikster, one of the candidates for Governor here? What would you expect from his leadership?”
She takes a long moment to ponder that question. Finally…
“I can’t say we spent much time together but my impression is he’s a cool man, someone who definitely plays his cards very close to his chest. He’s used to power and surrounds himself with equally influential people.”
She takes another mouthful of food.
“He’s a difficult man to read, a clinical observor and a consummate politician. As a leader, he would never act without thinking, he would surround himself with those he trusts. He’d be a decent, if perhaps unimaginative leader.”
