F-030: Spanial (N-Space to Jump Point), Common Area
Spanial in general seems to be a solid though not flashy piece of kit.
Gregar so far seems detail-oriented, knowledgeable and based on working though the plumbing with him, fairly meticulous, so probably maintains things well. If Oliver thinks about it, the engineering space is neat and organised and clean, though it doesn’t give that impression initially with it’s weird shapes and patterns of light and shadow. He has noticed that the ship’s physical security systems are of a high standard and the computer system has been set up with all the systems partitioned off from each other with customisable levels of credentials.
Oliver’s on firmer ground evaluating the comms and sensor systems, which seem to be of standard civilian quality for a ship of this size, but Ipan (or someone) has configured them effectively, both on Spanial and the shuttle.
As for Lia, (8 vs 14 for Diplomacy, plus Charisma bonuses plus yada, yada, yada) the mere fact of being seen to sit and engage with Oliver in a friendly way will probably improve his cred here.
She will continue to engage with him, drawing different people into the conversation.
“Systems seem fairly well maintained, anyone who’s been configuring them knows what they’re doing. Easy to work with, which is not always the case.”
Shall I continue the conversation in real time?
I’ll facilitate whatever the players would like to do.
I’m happy to accept the narrative approach rather than rping out the whole thing. I was just replying to a fully worded question with a fully worded answer.
Cool. Shall we move forward?
