3-020: At the Large Hunting Lodge X

Dicard ponders Oliver’s words for a moment.

“I suppose we could ask the manager here if he knows any more about him than where he lives.  Which might be something as you seem to be against violence as a solution.  And no, I didn’t see either of the others.”

Dicard nods to another drink, not quite as aggressively as it was offered.

“I could always go back to the spaceport and try to prevent him leaving while you guys stay here and try and work something out.”

Also confirming the out-of-session question, you do not know what is at the back of Argyle’s hunting lodge; you never looked.

  1. Oliver Starr says:

“Sounds good, will you need to take Alan with you?” I hand him another coffee, “Can you drive?” no attempt to dull any blow of condescension .

“Violence is messy, and it can lead to complications, such as looking for a book hidden behind five inches of steel under a nondescript mountain somewhere in the middle of the snow-desert.”
I pause for a second to take a sip of my drink, then sit back down and stare blankly at my laptop, “If we accidentally kill the man who knows everything we need to know, the job gets harder for no reason.”
