3-006: Leaving Argyle’s Hunting Lodge

It’s about 120km back to the big hunting lodge, previous experience tells you that’s about a 2 Job drive along the slightly-smoother-than-the-surrounding-terrain strip of snowy ground that serves as the road you followed to get here.  (NB:  That includes a break for Alan at some point.)

You buckle in.  The Crawler has lap-sash seatbelts of similar design to what one might find in our TL8 ground cars; those in the front seats (Alan and possibly someone else) also have airbags.  Anyone who wants to use one of the bunks also has the option of clipping a restraining webbing over themselves.

Alan pulls the crawler away from the gates and the darkened windows of Argyle’s lodge are soon fading into the twilight sky behind you.

It’s a long trip, so conversation may or may not ensue.  If not conversing, what are those of you who are not wrestling the 10 ton vehicle along the track doing?  (This may be a good time to plan…)

Also, someone who is not Alan (he’s busy) can make a PER roll with an undisclosed modifier.

Oliver is pleased we’re taking a more tactical approach.

I’m fairly certain an NPC earlier said Willard stops by for resources fairly routinely. “We should ask the fellow back at the hunting lodge if he knows more about Willard. Also there’s this Jobhethunt (see Oliver’s journal entry 3) fellow who had some tie to him a fair while ago. From what we know, Willard’s been here some time. I doubt he’s leaving the planet but there’s no reason we shouldn’t take precaution. Christopher, how do you usually go about hunting a man who spends most of his time in a higher-security area?”

I roll 15 against base 13. (By someone, do you mean everyone who isn’t Alan?)

    – I have stuff I want to do at each point of the journey so if there’s some way we can be informed of where we’re at that’d be dandy. Specifically I’d like to know when Alan’s break is and when the second part of the journey starts.

Christoper in regards to people in high secruity.

“All these gadgets that people have to keep them safe at home, doesnt protect them when they go outside.”

    Christopher sits back and grins.

“When he comes out, for whatever he needs i can make him talk.”

Chirstoper is implying we wait and see his next move. We havent been given a time frame
