E-366-Oliver: Merchant Freighter Spanial (Docked at Zarg’s World Highport)

Cockpit

Jennie says, “Good to know; you usually work Green?

“Anyway, no need to alter anything yet, I’ll let you know after I talk with the Captain.  Like I said, you’re technically still on dock leave.”

Hopper

He would know those facts from his earlier tour of the ship with Lia.

Jennie says, “You can pressurise the hold if you want to, just be aware that it’s a bigger volume than the life support systems are designed to handle, especially while it’s empty, so the pressure will be low and the air will slowly go bad, so at minimum you need to carry an atmosphere monitor with you and get out if the alarm goes off.  No ‘I’ll just fix this and get out’ either, if I have to throw your lifeless blue corpse out the airlock because you ignored the alarm, you are going to be in a lot of trouble.”

There’s possibly the barest twitch of a smile at the corners of her mouth, but it’s difficult to tell.

She pauses.

“Oh, and I appreciate the dedication.”

So I assume Oliver makes his way to the Cargo Hold and attempts to pressurise it.

Give me an IQ roll please.

  1. Oliver Starr says:

    Cockpit:
“Yeah, green and half of blue…”

    “Sounds good, keep me updated.”

    Hopper:
“Okay, I will do that. I don’t skimp on precautions.”
He smiles back, but doesn’t engage in the banter.

He will take a monitor as instructed, if one is available and yes, go and pressurize the hold.
    7 versus 13 for IQ
