E-364-Lia: Zarg’s World Downport Concourse, Honest Brodie’s

Her initial inspection suggests it’s an above-board, licensed (by the Cultural Bureau) gaming venue.  The only thing that might be questionable is that side bets at the Carom tables have to be placed through the establishment’s Bookmaker and it’s possible there is some surreptitious private betting going on.  Otherwise, if things are rigged, it’s more subtle than her observation can reveal.  

There are a few possible marks who might be grift-able; I’ll provide more details if she decides to pursue that.

Ipan looks uncertain and Lia’s assessment is he not used to a gaming establishment like this, so the list of people who might take advantage of him includes anyone in the venue who knows what they’re doing.  However, at least initially it doesn’t look like anyone has marked him as Lia has marked some of the others.

He seems to have summoned up his courage and is heading for an empty seat at one of the Chak tables; she may intercept him if she wishes.
