E-312: Zarg’s World Downport, Circus Galacta

The Nggrrang is a large predator native to Felline, and the Dominion has adopted the Felline name for it (or something approximating that.)  In older times, Felline hunting parties used to hunt (or occasionally be hunted by) Nggrrang, and they are rumoured to be fierce and dangerous.  They hunt in family groups of two-to-five Nggrrang, the males tending to face the prey head on while the females flank and chase.  

However, even by first contact the Felline had the upper hand on the Nggrrang with their superior (steam-age) technology and those near their settlements had been hunted out.

In what proves to be something of a comedy of errors, Lia actually wins (or perhaps, fails to lose as badly as Kort does).  It’s clear neither of them are particularly good at this game.

OK.  The roll was to see how that came off with the crew.  Lia is pretty behaviourally perceptive so I’ll say she can see the intent behind Oliver’s actions and mood as you’ve described it.  

As for the others, well, at least nobody spits on him or challenges him to a fist fight.  People seem accepting without being overly friendly.

As Lia is picking the game, she can determine what skills or attributes to roll against.
