    There’s some longing, which she would normally shut off but since she has the luxury of being alone, she’s letting it run.

    Flashes of Sage and the time they spent, albeit professionally.

    Comparisons with her own childhood – good and bad; it would be naive to call it nostalgia.

    Occasional mental interruptions fretting over Raina and worrying about Zayaire that she is constantly trying to repress.
