Slowly and a little carefully, she says, “I’m just here to run the ship, and so I’m not up on everything you’ve found out about the job, and I probably don’t have a complete picture. But, from what I’ve heard Argyle’s motives aren’t clear.
“Plus, like I said a while ago, I worry we might be catching innocent people in the net.”
“Whatever his motives are, he’s murdered people, he’s faked his own death and is now tied on with some conspiracy organisation.”
“We haven’t caught anyone in any net so far. We’ve ordered no prosecution or arrests since we started.”
