C-054: Maldemar 732 (N-space to Customs Pinnace Rendezvous), Control

Argyle’s Journals

Having completed that major milestone, Oliver may be feeling good about himself…

Because reading Argyle’s technical notes is educational; Oliver may have a skill point in one of Electronic Engineering, Cryptography, Mathematics (Cryptology), Mathematics (Applied) or Mathematics (Pure)

Also, if you’d like to roll the point in Mathematics (Cryptology) that Oliver already has into Cryptography you may – I promise I won’t say at some future point ‘no that’s not a Cryprography roll, that’s a roll against Mathematics (Cryptology)!’

Customs Pinnace Rendezvous

Erin pointed out that if she’s sitting watch in Control she’s not re-tuning the FTL engines so the ship can jump again, so Halcyon said he’d cover the watch, or Oliver may have done his final reading and research in Control.

Unless Oliver would like to disagree with Alan and Erin?

In any case the ship approaches the RDV with the Pinnace at the agreed time, decelerating hard to match velocities.

Oliver can monitor the other vessel on his scanner.  It’s much smaller than the Maldemar 732 – perhaps 10% to 15% of the Sloop’s mass.

Alan deftly guides the Sloop to a smooth docking approach, and soon the ships are joined together with a boarding tube.

“This is Legion Navy Customs Pinnace Zealous PUNOUB, preparing to come aboard.”

I will make those changes soon after some debate

    • Oliver Starr says:

Oliver agrees Erin should be in engineering. He offeers to split Erin’s watch if Alan wants to get a nap in before being boarded.
“Legion Navy Zealous PUNOUB, Maldemar 732 is ready for boarding.”
