“Shall we say ʄ7,500 for the necklace? We’d also be happy to gift you the earrings as a token of our appreciation of your observation…and your discretion.”
She’s happy with the price and raises her eyebrows slightly in appreciation.
“I’d say that’s more than fair. My discretion doesn’t need earrings but I appreciate the thought all the same. Consider it professional courtesy.”
She looks at him sincerely.
“Have a close look at your supplier, or whomever sourced that piece. It was excellent work and difficult to spot.”
