Given the way some of the handles on these canes sparkle, they’ve apparently made an exception.

The one the man is examining right now seems to be made of real wood, under multiple coats of deep lacquer, the shaft inlaid with some sort of deep blue metal alongside gold and gems, with an ornate and finely wrought gold handle.

Despite the above description, it manages to avoid gaudy.
