So, some basics: Spanial’s usual cargo capacity is 900 tonne, currently reduced to 896 tonne because the Grass Hopper is stored there.
The trip from Zarg’s world to New Zargland is 19.0 light years. Spanial has 0.5G acceleration in normal space and an FTL speed factor of x2.3 across all jump ranges (not always the case, some ships can go faster across short FTL distances).
Karmen has said the standard freight charge is ʄ9 per tonne ‘flag fall’ to cover in-system time plus ʄ30 per tonne per light year, making the standard rate for the 19.0 light year trip from Zarg’s World to New Zargland ʄ579 per tonne.
New Zargland is close to the star’s safe jump limit, making for a typical travel time in normal space.
The trip is estimated to take about 7 Cycles in hyperspace and about 4 Cycles in normal space (combined time at both ends of the journey).

I’m going to allow Lia to add her Charisma bonus to those rolls. I assume the following occurs later in the Cycle, or even into the next one after she’s checked messages and such.
A series of contacts at the Highport will lead her to a small man with a pronounced nervous tic who has 30 tonne of Radioactives to sell for ʄ3,900,000 – which would be a substantial chunk of, or more than, Karmen’s speculative float (Karmen hasn’t said what her exact capacity is to purchase speculative cargo.)
Lia finds a one-off freight contract of 600 tonne of chemicals (600 x ʄ579 = ʄ347,400 at standard rates)
I assume no response is required to Zael’s Catalogue. Lia will take note of that instruction and attempt to do something about it over the next few cycles.
Putting aside the potential cargo opportunities to be discussed with Karmen, she will respond to the other message saying she is willing to meet and asking for details on a location and time.
