B-150: Hopper, Missile Cache Asteroid
Lia brings the Hopper down near the outcrop. The landing is a bit rugged and the Hopper slides sideways at the last moment when the asteroid’s minuscule gravity means there’s not much friction to stop it. Lia deploys the vehicle’s Gecko grips and one of them bites, bringing the Hopper to a sudden stop. Unfortunately the rugged rock here means she can only get that one Gecko to stick properly, so the Hopper’s attachment to the asteroid’s surface is a bit tenuous.
Someone, possibly Kort, grunts across comms, but no-one comments on the landing.
There are several seconds of silence.
If Lia doesn’t speak, Gregar whispers, “Gravity’s almost zero here. Be careful moving around. Use your suit’s Gecko grips and be sure of your footing.”
Lia is fully aware of that given the landing, that was probably for Kort’s benefit.
Kwint surveys the 15m distance to the overhang.
“Tethers?”
Does Lia have an opinion? Advice? Action?
“Definitely tethers. Gregar any advice on a way to further attach the Hopper while we move stuff? Or would you guys rather I stay at the Controls just in case she shifts?”
